We are thrilled to unveil the official trailer for Ordinary Life. 20 Years in the EU, a compelling documentary set to premiere in December 2024.

This film reflects on a momentous milestone in European history — the 2004 enlargement of the European Union, when ten nations joined in the largest single expansion ever. Through the lens of personal stories, Ordinary Life explores the challenges, dreams, and transformations over the past two decades, revealing how heritage and hope have shaped our shared European journey.

Featuring voices from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, and Malta, this documentary offers a deeply human perspective on societal evolution and the enduring connections across our continent.

Produced by Very Films with the help of partners from University of Latvia, Vilnius University, University of Tartu Museum, University of Opole, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, Comenius Univeristy Bratislava, Ludovika University of Public Service, and King Danylo University as part of the EU-funded CAMINO project, Ordinary Life invites you to reflect on the extraordinary within the everyday.
