Vytautas Kontrimas is a lecturer in the CAMINO-developed course "Intercultural Awareness in Central and Eastern European Context". As the creator of the "Effective Communication" module, he guides participants in understanding social norms, diverse communication styles, and time management across cultures. His expertise helps students develop essential skills for navigating intercultural interactions, making him a key contributor to fostering deeper awareness and cooperation in a diverse European landscape.

Associate professor Vytautas Kontrimas is an actor, educator, public speaking coach and artistic director of Vilnius University, one of Project CAMINO partner-universities . Vytautas Kontrimas has an incredible experience in TV, theatre and cinema. He uses this knowledge in his seminars, where people learn communication, body language, improvisation and stage freedom skills, as well as working with business clients. His teaching specialty - theatrical methods, practical exercises, feedback - helps to quickly and effectively learn acting prowess techniques in public speaking.

Vilnius University Culture Centre founded the project "Theatre improvisation" in 2021 and as of today the Improv group has gained a lot of interest as well as already organized the first ever "Impro Battle" in Vilnius University. Vytautas Kontrimas fosters an open and playful environment where anyone—regardless of experience or acting skills—can dive into the world of improvisation. By actively participating, individuals learn how to manage stage fright, trust their instincts, and react confidently in the moment. These exercises not only nurture a sense of humor and creative freedom but also build skills that translate beyond the stage—boosting confidence in studies, careers, and everyday interactions.

We invite everyone to take the CAMINO-developed course "Intercultural Awareness in Central and Eastern European Context" in order to learn from Vytautas and gain valuable communication skills that will help to develop essential skills for navigating intercultural interactions.
