Both – Latvian and Lithuanian – culture centres are partners of the CAMINO project ("CAMINO – 20 years of cultural enrichment in reunified Europe"). Therefore, this meeting helped to strengthen mutual relations and understanding the potential directions for cooperation development. Recognising that cultural centres as organisational units do not exist in all universities, the Lithuanian colleagues shared their experience and reasons why they want to continue to get to know similar centres in other parts of Europe and beyond.
After the discussion, the Culture Centre of the University of Latvia invited colleagues from the Culture Centre of the University of Vilnius, as well as partners of the CAMINO project from Slovakia and Estonia to go on a short tour of the UL Museum – to the Student Cell of Punishment, the Observatory, and the recently renovated exposition.
