On March 21, King Danylo University hosted the Sacred Carpathians Forum, focused on promoting sacred tourism and art in the Carpathian region. As part of this forum, an exhibition was held featuring works from the Namolenne Sky project's collection, titled Faces.

The Namolenne Sky project was launched by Ihor Ivankiv, head of the Carpathian Art Foundation, alongside artists from various parts of Ukraine and King Danylo University artistic group. The exhibition showcased unique icons, painted on church shingles that had been used in worship for many years, giving them a special energy and spiritual significance.

The forum highlighted both the artistic and technical mastery of the icon painters. Of particular significance was the involvement of students from the Design program at King Danylo University, who contributed with two icons on shingles. These student works were also displayed at the event and will be featured in exhibitions across Ukraine.

"This event is significant for our institution," remarked Khrystyna Terletska, head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business. "It not only promotes sacred art and architecture, but also serves as a tribute to Father Ivan Lutsky, the founder of King Danylo University, who was committed to instilling Christian values in young people."

By collaborating with industry professionals, King Danylo University artistic group of design students were able to contribute in an exhibition and promote their work and university to people outside their collective, as well as region. This only shows, that with motivation anything is possible.
